In order to sustain the clean-up programme, the ministry of Nairobi Metropolitan Development has stepped up sensitization initiatives to members of the public. The ministry has also been donating to the councils equipments worth millions of shillings for use in refuse collection.

Maintaining environment conservation will be one sure way of bringing the world to the Nairobi Metropolitan Regions Tourism attractions such as the Nairobi National Park, Amboseli National Park, Ol Donyo Sabuk Game Reserve and the Ngong Hills.
